What moves the price of a website?

A few factors drive most of the cost difference between quotes.

    • Number of pages: a 5-page site and a 20-page site involve different amounts of design and writing.
    • Booking and payments: live availability and deposit handling add integration work.
    • Automation: instant lead replies, follow-ups and CRM routing are usually a separate project.
    • Content: whether you supply photos and copy, or someone has to produce them.

    Questions we get asked

Why do website quotes vary so much?

Because 'a website' can mean a template with your name on it or a custom-built site with automation behind it. Compare what is included, not just the number.

Are there hidden costs with BuildSites?

No. The domain is about $20 a year and stays in your name. Hosting, updates, backups and edits are all inside the $297 a month. Prices are in CAD plus tax.

Is there really no upfront payment?

None. Your first monthly payment is due the day the site goes live, with no design, build or setup fee charged before that.

What happens after the 12-month term?

The plan continues month to month at the same price. You can cancel with 30 days' notice, and remaining months are due on early cancellation.

How long does it take to get the site live?

BuildSites gets a site live in 48 hours of working time once you provide your logo and services list. The clock pauses while waiting on the client.
