How much does a website cost with BuildSites?

$297 a month with no upfront build cost, on a 12-month term. That covers the design, the build, the launch and everything needed to keep it running: hosting, monitoring, security updates, backups and edits. Prices are in Canadian dollars and the same in Toronto, the GTA and Montréal.

Is there really no upfront cost?

Correct. There is no design fee, no build fee and no setup fee. Your first monthly payment is due when the site goes live.

Why a monthly price instead of a one-time build?

Because a website is never finished. A one-time build leaves you paying separately for hosting, updates and every change. One monthly price means the site is built, kept online, kept secure and kept current, and our incentive is for it to keep working for you, not to hand it over and move on.

What does the 12-month term mean?

You commit to 12 monthly payments. After that the plan continues month to month at the same price and you can cancel with 30 days’ notice.

What happens if I cancel before 12 months?

The remaining months of the term are due. We would rather you did not need to, which is why every plan includes unlimited edits and a real person to talk to.

Do I own the website?

The domain, the content and your accounts are yours from day one. The site itself is yours once the 12-month term is complete, and we hand it over cleanly if you ever leave.

Does maintenance really cost nothing extra?

Yes. Every plan includes hosting, uptime monitoring every minute, security updates within 24 hours, nightly backups and content edits. There is no separate maintenance plan and no per-edit fee.

What does the Automation plan actually do?

It answers every new lead within a minute, confirms and reminds appointments, follows up on quotes and invoices, and asks for reviews after each job. It runs on your existing phone number, inbox and calendar, and we keep every workflow running and adjust it as your business changes.

What is not included?

Online stores, customer portals and custom software are quoted separately after a call. Text messaging for automations is billed by the provider, typically $20 to $40 a month. Paid advertising budgets are yours.

Can you build a bilingual French and English site on this plan?

Yes. Bilingual sites for Montréal, Laval and the South Shore are built on the same monthly plan. We confirm the exact figure on the first call, since it depends on how much content needs both languages.

Do prices include tax?

No. HST applies in Ontario, GST and QST in Quebec.

How fast can you start?

Usually within a week of the call. A website goes live within 48 hours of receiving your logo and services list. Automation is live within about a week.
