What every trade website has in common
The phone rings while you are working. The site has to take the request, reply by text within a minute and give you what you need to call back with a number. That part is the same for a flooring installer, a mover and a general contractor, and it is in every BuildSites plan.
After that the trades differ. A flooring quote needs square footage and a photo of the subfloor. A move needs two addresses, a date and the stairs at each end. A contractor needs the licence and WSIB clearance on the page before the price. The industry pages below are about those differences.
What changes from one trade to the next
The quote form first. For a flooring installer it asks for square footage, the product, stairs and a photo of the room. For a mover it asks for two addresses, a date, and the stairs or elevator at each end. For a general contractor it asks four things: the job, the address, the timeline and a photo. The form is the page most visitors came for, so it is built per trade, not copied.
Then the proof. A homeowner choosing a contractor wants the licence number and the WSIB clearance before the price. A homeowner choosing a flooring company wants to see your floors in a house like theirs, by product. A barbershop's whole site is the booking button and the hours. Each industry page below says which proof goes where.
Then the service and area pages. One page per service you actually sell and per city you actually drive to, written for that service and that city. Luxury Flooring has six product pages and seven GTA city pages; Tanco Transport has four service pages and eight city pages. Neither has a page for a town they have never worked in.
What you send us, whatever the trade
Your logo, or nothing, and we set a clean wordmark so the clock still starts. A list of your services in bullet points. The cities you work in. Phone photos of real jobs, which beat stock every time. Your licence and insurance details if your trade has them. Your domain login, or we register one in your name. Then a 20-minute call, and you leave with a launch date.
Why only these industries?
Because we only write an industry page where we have built a real site for that trade or run one ourselves. A page that says "we build websites for roofers" with no roofer behind it is a template with a trade name swapped in, and search engines have a name for that. When a roofing client goes live, the roofing page follows.
What the plan costs, whatever the trade
$297 USD a month, plus applicable taxes, with no upfront build cost, on a 12-month term. Up to 8 pages designed and written for your business, the quote form with the text reply, one page per service and per area, Google Business Profile linked, and the care plan: hosting, monitoring every minute, updates within 24 hours, nightly backups and unlimited edits. Automation for missed calls, quote follow-ups, invoices and reviews is $297 USD a month, or $445 USD for both. The pricing page has every line.
Live in 48 hours once we have your logo and your services. Toronto, the GTA and Montréal, and remotely across Canada. The domain, the content and your accounts are yours from day one, and the site itself is yours once the 12-month term is complete. Edits are included: text us the change and it is usually live the same day.
